ARIC is supported by the United Kingdom's Department of Transportation, Environment and the Regions to provide unbiased information on climate change. Look for the following features on the ARIC site: Fact Sheets (which have versions for younger and older readers), Study Packs with activities for different age groups and the Encyclopaedia of the Atmospheric Environment.

Barenaked Planet - The Barenaked Ladies are doing their part to address the serious threats of global warming, industrial pollution, forest destruction, over dependence on oil and a host of other challenges. Partnering with Reverb, a non-profit organization that seeks to raise awareness and support for the environment through building upon the powerful connection between musicians and their fans, they have created "Barenaked Planet", a program designed to address environmental and social issues that have become increasingly important to the band.

Commuter Connections - Carpool.ca is a simple way for individuals to take part in the climate change challenge while saving money, reducing congestion and conserving energy along the way. Created by Commuter Connections, the purpose the website is to provide assistance to individuals who are considering carpooling as an alternate means of commuting.

Girl Guides of Canada.  In the 'Explore Water' booklet enjoy learning about how we use water and how we can care for it. The book includes simple colouring activities, fun science activities, and even a mobile.

Government of Canada's Climate Change Website. Check out the Student's Workroom for a climate change calculator, games, questions and answers, student projects and resources.

The Pembina Institute is an independent, not-for-profit environmental policy research and education organization. The Pembina Institute’s major policy research and education programs are in the areas of sustainable energy, climate change, environmental governance, ecological fiscal reform, sustainability indicators, and the environmental impacts of the energy industry.

Scouts Canada. Learn about Scouts Canada new climate change action program.

Sierra Youth Coalition's action centre for youth concerned about the environment. It embraces all the diverse peoples of Canada ages 15 to 25 and students of any age.

United States Environmental Protection for Children's Website on climate change has basic information about climate change, games, questions and answers, student projects and resources.

Youth.gc.ca is a single access point for youth related-information on the Internet. You'll find everything from government programs and services, to information on education, employment, travel, health and much more. Best of all, these services are specific to the community in which the user lives.  By simply clicking on "In Your Community" you'll find information and events which relate to your community!
