| Interested in helping the
environment and your community at the same time? Well here is your chance!
This fall SaskEnergy, SIAST, the Salvation Army and numerous volunteers
from communities across the province will team up to help Saskatchewan homeowners
in the 2006 Share the Warmth campaign. Teams of volunteers in Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Yorkton, Estevan, Maple Creek, Meadow Lake, Kindersley, Nipawin, Tisdale and Melfort, will visit 500 homes to do some basic energy saving retro-fits, that can help save homeowners over $150 a year! What a great way to help your community, the environment, make some new friends, and learn some new skills all at once!!! No experience is necessary, and there are plenty of jobs for all skill levels. For more information, to register as a volunteer, or to find out if your house might be eligible for the program visit www.climatechangesask.ca |
